Continuing the un-blocking process

Well, I spent another afternoon on the view of Durdle Door yesterday and now I am going to hang it on the wall of my studio for a while until I decide whether it is finished or not. I have attached it to this blog so that the reader can see the small changes that have now been made since the 'work in progress' was posted in my first blog. I often do that when I have a piece that has been difficult to achieve. Giving a piece this time to 'breathe' allows me to see what needs to be done. One of th… Continue

Working Titles

I have one title in mind for my new podcast for next year. It covers a wide range of creative fields and I will aim to bring the listening audience a content rich program from a wide range of very talented artists.

Creative blocks and recovery

In recent months I have experienced a black hole in my creative process. It followed on the heels of writing, editing and illustrating a children's book which was published this autumn in the UK. Not for the first time I began to question my validity… Continue

Full steam ahead!

I have to say that the level of interest and enthusiasm from all the potential contributors is great.

Furthermore, I am now in more serious discussions with at least four people (two in particular) about working on content, so I cannot begin to tell you how exciting this is for me to start to see this project take shape.

If you want to know more and am wondering what the heck I am referring to then try here:

Poem: The Dark Heretic

In diligent search of God
was the dark heretic,
a master of the natural world
and our father of modern physics.

In defiance of the Church
stood Sir Isaac Newton alone,
cloistered in his office, clinging…
To personal beliefs, of his own.

Interest in “The End Times”
was his lifelong, secret mission -
His papers were intentionally hidden,
from recognizing the gravity of his situation.

In the study of Divine Prophesy,
Newton poured incessantly over The Word,
convinced that his Doomsday calculatio… Continue
